Job Title: Phlebotomist
Location: Jackson, MI
Pay Rate: $16-$18/hr.
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
Shift Hours: Every other weekend required, Open to block scheduling but not preferred, 5-8's 4a-1230p, 5a-130p, or 230p-11p
Requirements:
*Must have at least a year of experience
*Phlebotomy Cert strongly preferred not required
* Must have prior experience with LIS (Lab information system) experience
*Help with Morning Lab duties
*May need to learn specimen receiving, if they don't already have that experience
Job Summary:
Under general supervision and according to specified procedures, performs routine laboratory activities such as patient receiving, venipuncture, computer data entry, and other related duties including lab clinical functions.
Required Skills & Experience:
-6 months to one year on the job experience in venipuncture required.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Previous computer experiences preferred.
