What are the responsibilities and job description for the Donation Processing Specialist position at Eternal Word?
HOW YOU WILL IMPACT THE BIG PICTURE:
As the Donation Processing Specialist you’ll be responsible for reviewing and processing donation correspondence, recording and reconciling donations, and updating donor database records. Your contributions to the department and team will help to advance the EWTN Mission of spreading the Gospel around the world!
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Process donations using the Mavro Imaging system and the EWTN fundraising CRM.
- Route donor correspondence for further review and action.
- Prepare reports on donation processing as requested.
- Perform work diligently and accurately.
- Maintain confidentiality of donor information and EWTN fundraising performance and methods.
- Maintain security of donor payment information and methods.
ABOUT YOU:
- You have a minimum 1-2 years of fundraising donation processing or data entry experience.
- You are adept at Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; other computer programs as required.
- You have excellent typing and keyboard skills.
- You are able to quickly and accurately enter large quantities of data.
- You possess excellent oral & written communication skills.
- You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- You possess a friendly and cooperative attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
- You hold a HS Diploma or GED.
- Demonstrated understanding of the Catholic Faith and EWTN’s mission is preferred.
