What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Euronet Worldwide, Inc.?
Have interest in becoming a Financial Analyst? This position will play a key role in FP&A in developing and implementing the business strategy for epay North America. This is a full-time and permanent position.
What you will be doing:
- Review and analyze sales and gross margin trends at the product and retailer level
- Create business case models to evaluate new business opportunities
- Identify and analyze key risks and opportunities for the business
- Complete monthly forecast, facilitate forecast meetings and recommend forecast and reporting process improvements
- Analyze and complete variance analysis for P&L accounts on a monthly basis
- Prepare presentations for leadership meetings, earnings presentations, etc.
- Work with internal and external auditors in key subject matter areas
- Identify and implement improvements to processes and procedures
- Assist with monthly financial close process
- Responsible for special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent with emphasis in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of relevant finance, accounting, general ledger and forecast experience
- Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation), to all levels of the organization in addition to internal and external customers
- Must be highly skilled in use of Excel Spreadsheets and working experience with SQL and databases preferred
- Strong attention to detail and highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
- Self-motivated and proven track record of identifying efficiencies
- Aptitude to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
