What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Technical Analyst position at Euronet Worldwide, Inc.?
The QA Technical Analysis is responsible for the quality assurance testing of the Euronet Software Solutions and providing technical support for Implementations and Customer Support. This position works closely with software developers and architects to isolate and solve issues. Develops and initiates tests, analyzes results, ensures issues are reported and resolved, performs assigned coding tasks for small product enhancements, bug fixes, and customizations.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Perform assigned programming tasks, following standard processes, for product enhancements, bug fixes, and customizations
- Design and execute test plans & cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
- Record and document results and compare to expected results
- Detect software failures so that defects may be discovered and correct
- Document and report issues; track issue resolution
- Participate in application planning meetings.
- Provide technical support for Implementations and Customer Service teams
Required:
- 2 years of experience in a software development or equivalent bachelor’s degree
- C , Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, Bash Scripting, XML, Linus/Unix Scripting
- Experience in problem/issue identification, documentation, tracking and resolution
- Excellent analytical and organization skills
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Ability to work in a team environment
