We have immediate full-time openings for CAD Drafters and Designers at our headquarters in Taneytown, MD. We are looking for self-motivated and detail oriented people to join our team!
Specific Responsibilities
Business hours: Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
Pay: Commensurate with experience
Specific Responsibilities
- Develops models and detailed design drawings according to written and verbal specifications.
- Consults with Engineers and Project Coordinators to resolve design problems.
- Ensures that dimensions of equipment are accurately reflected in all designs.
- Create a Bill of Materials based on 3D models.
- Associate degree or certification in Computer Drafting and Design Technology (or a related field) required.
- 2 years of professional highly proficient 3D modeling experience required, such as Solid Edge or equivalent software.
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple assignments/projects with minimal supervision and strong attention to detail.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and ability to meet competing deadlines.
- Must be able to balance working in a collaborative work environment with independently completing work tasks/projects.
