Everett Engineering is a reputable manufacturing company specializing in custom metal fabrication. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administration Accounting HR Assistant.
In this role, you will provide administrative support to our accounting and human resources departments. You will be responsible for handling various accounting tasks, such as processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining financial records. Additionally, you will assist with HR-related duties, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining employee records.
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Handle bank reconciliations and petty cash management.
- Prepare and process employee expense reports.
- Maintain and update employee records, including time off requests and personnel changes.
- Assist with employee onboarding and orientation.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
- Support HR in various administrative tasks, such as scheduling interviews and organizing company events.
- Ensure compliance with accounting and HR policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, human resources, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and HR processes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations is a plus.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and benefits administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
