Job Title: Entry-Level IT Technician

Schedule: Rotational or Fixed Shifts Available
Pay Rates by Shift:
- 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:45 PM): $17/hr
- 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:45 PM): $19.55/hr
- 3rd Shift (11:00 PM – 7:45 AM): $21.25/hr
Job Summary:
We are hiring an Entry-Level IT Technician to join our growing technology team in Secaucus, NJ. This role is perfect for someone starting their career in IT, with a strong interest in troubleshooting and hardware support. On-the-job training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Assist in setting up and imaging workstations, laptops, and other devices.
- Support network connectivity and printer troubleshooting.
- Maintain, track, and organize IT equipment and inventory.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff for escalation and resolution of complex issues.
- Follow documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree in IT is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Willingness to work on-site in Secaucus, NJ.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, or ticketing systems.
- IT-related certification (e.g., CompTIA A , Google IT Support) is a plus.
- Prior internship or hands-on technical support experience is helpful but not required.
