As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Townhouse Center, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our residents. Your responsibilities include:
- Active involvement in direct resident assessment and care
- Supervision and coordination of nursing personnel in accordance with State and Federal regulations
- Formulating individualized nursing care plans using the nursing process
- Daily assessment of each resident and prompt adjustment of care plans as needed
- Collaborating with physicians during rounds and ensuring accurate communication of pertinent information
- Training and supervising nursing personnel to excel in their roles
- Demonstrating effective leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Remaining composed and efficient during emergency situations
- Contributing to the implementation of our facility's Quality Improvement Program
- Identifying potential safety hazards and ensuring compliance with facility guidelines
- Maintaining accurate resident care records and documenting pertinent data
- Actively participating in resident care meetings, staff meetings, and in-service training
- Ensuring active licensure and attending all mandated in-services
- Engaging in teaching opportunities with residents, families, and staff through formal or informal presentations
- Dispensing medication and performing treatments in accordance with facility policies and procedures
- Promptly notifying attending physicians and families of significant changes in residents' health conditions
- Current RN licensure in the state of New York
- Nursing experience is a plus
