1:1 Part-time Respite Support Staff Need - (JOB # JF-MT)
Exceptional Family Resources is currently looking for a Direct Support Professional to work with a woman in Baldwinsville area. This individual is looking to identify and participate in recreational activities within her community. This woman enjoys being active and being outside especially during the nice weather, some of her other interests include going swimming, listening to music, getting her hair done, and watching movies. Any potential Direct Support Professional would also be assisting with stretching exercises to increase dexterity and movement. Personal care is a requirement as well as lifting and transporting this individual.
This is a part-time position but additional hours are available with other people receiving services
at the agency.
Starting pay: Starting pay is $17/hour and increases with years of relevant experience.
Schedule: Saturday's 4-6 hour shift, times are flexible.
Location: Baldwinsville, NY
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work independently in the person's home and/or community.
- Reliable with effective communication and organizational skills.
- No experience required but experience working with people with disabilities preferred.
- New York State Driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance is required; acceptable driving record required.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community.
All job offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check completed by Exceptional Family Resources (EFR).
