Self-Direction DSP - Syracuse Area (Job #MA-FR)
Exceptional Family Resources is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the Syracuse area with a very sweet woman in her 20's. This young lady is looking for an outgoing, laid back and encouraging mentor that is also proactive and reliable. This individual is shy and introverted and benefits from encouragement to explore activities in the community. The DSP will drive the person to school and some of her appointments. The individual is looking for a dedicated staff to assist her with getting engaged in the community while participating in classes and clubs. This individual is looking to learn independent skills in the community and receive mentoring on building advocacy, decision-making, and community connections. This individual is great at painting and loves Art.
Reliable transportation and a driver's license are required
Experience working with people with disabilities, preferred.
Hiring for up to 25 hours per week with flexible hours. Pay Rate starts at $21 and
Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire by the non-profit agency.
