Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Lead construction execution for electrical power distribution, communications, controls, and system integration
- Ensure all electrical work aligns with PSEG standards, project specifications, and public-agency requirements
- Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and authority stakeholders
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and system readiness activities
- Monitor schedule, quality, safety, and field performance
- Resolve construction conflicts related to utilities and electrical scope
- Support workforce development, local hiring, and diversity participation goals
- Prepare reports, field documentation, and leadership updates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related technical discipline
- 7–10 years of construction management experience on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Demonstrated experience working directly with PSEG (required)
- Strong background in electrical systems, including medium- and high-voltage power
- Experience on airport, rail, transit, or utility-heavy infrastructure projects
- Proven experience working on public-sector or authority-led projects
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Newark, NJ
- Automated People Mover (APM), rail, or transit systems
- Utility relocations and service tie-ins
- Electrical commissioning and system integration
- Base Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 (commensurate with experience)
