Trissential is seeking a PLM Analyst to join our client team remotely. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of product lifecycle management systems and processes. They should possess excellent analytical skills, be adept at problem-solving, and have the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of PLM systems, working across multiple phases of projects to deliver on-time and on-budget goals. This role is open only to candidates authorized to work and reside in the US.
Responsibilities
- Work through processes to determine if there are defects, bugs, or issues with various devices and applications
- Verify that all features of various software applications work properly across a number of devices after updates are performed
- Test features of both hardware and software through end-user test cases
- Manage multiple phases of projects and take responsibility for specific test areas and conditions.
- Evaluate results, resolve problems, and plan accordingly
- Create test cases independently and prepare for evaluations
- Execute test scripts, run tests, and retest as necessary in the area of accountability
- Investigate defined issues, gather data, and identify root causes
- Identify test issues, report risks, and define regression tests for current and future projects
- Create traceability records from test cases back to requirements, report on system quality, and collect metrics on test cases
- Work on quality assurance projects using available test frameworks and tools
- Maintain the status of projects and provide updates to team members, working across teams to achieve group goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience with PLM systems such as Siemens Teamcenter
- Ability to work with minimal direction and effectively in a team environment
- Experience with automation, web-based or mobile testing, and API testing is extremely helpful
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt style accordingly and respond well to change
- Good self-management, ability to set and work to quantified goals and standards
- Must be flexible, independent, and self-motivated
Essential skills
- Professional attitude and ability to work effectively with clients and peers
- Good understanding of the software development process including analysis, design, coding, system and user testing, problem resolution, and planning
- 6 years of experience in quality assurance methodologies and awareness of new and emerging technologies
- Practical experience with testing tools and frameworks required to deliver quality assurance projects
Experience
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in quality assurance and testing
- Demonstrated experience with PLM Teamcenter
- Good applications/technology knowledge, building on specialist domain knowledge
Benefits
Trissential offers a competitive compensation package for full time roles. The hourly pay range for this role is $65 to $75 depending on candidate's qualifications and experience. This role is eligible for benefits and includes options for medical, dental, vision, and tele-health benefits; Health Savings Account with company contribution; up to 48 hours of accrued paid safe and sick time, and 401k retirement savings.
