What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Marketing position at FairCom?
As the Head of Marketing, your key objectives will be to build and execute market strategies, initiatives, and programs and creatively promote our database software solutions (FairCom DB, FairCom Edge, and c-treeRTG). This position is pivotal in creating, planning, and executing marketing campaigns in order to increase FairCom’s brand awareness and consistently generate new, high-quality leads. As a highly collaborative leader, you have a passion for building high-performing teams and rely on data-driven insights to make changes and actional recommendations. Finally, you will work closely with the Executive Team to develop and communicate FairCom’s brand strategy and goals.

The Day-to-Day
- Lead the development of marketing plans to create an effective and efficient marketing strategy focused on growing audiences for our products and services.
- Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for market research, forecasts, competitor analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends, and translate results into actionable insights for the marketing team.
- Manage the marketing team as well as all related tasks such as hiring, training, project management, and performance management.
- Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, prepare engaging displays and collateral as needed, and provide post-event reports and analysis.
- Identify short-term and long-term scheduling, budget, and resource needs, including the development and management of an annual marketing budget, profit/loss projections, expenditure spending, and other financial considerations.
- Spearhead the strategic and tactical execution of marketing campaigns, including design of test/control segmentation, implementation of tests, tracking, results reporting, analysis, and recommendations.
- Work with our Director of Product to define personas or target channels in order to fine-tune messaging for campaigns, posts, and the website.
- Manage technical aspects of key marketing systems (marketing automation, HubSpot) used to generate, distribute, and report on leads.
- Oversee output of all content including graphics, blogs, social media posts, website designs and updates, trade show materials, swag, etc. ensuring the development and consistency of FairCom’s voice and brand.
- Effectively collaborate with Senior Leadership & the Director of Product to determine the overall go-to-market strategy.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in B2B Technology or Software Marketing.
- 5 years of experience in Marketing management roles with a proven track record.
- Strong track record that shows successful go-to-market strategies and programs with measurable impacts on revenue contribution.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Marketing or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Marketing software systems such as HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Drift, Bots, etc.
- Familiar with the basic concepts of a typical IT infrastructure, like servers, storage, business applications (ERP, CRM, BI, etc.), and the role a database play in it.
Position Preferences
- Master of Business Administration or other advanced Marketing/Technical education a plus.
- Continued skill development such as Google Adwords certification or HubSpot Academy certifications.
- Experience with the following: FairCom DB, c-treeRTG, FairCom EDGE, IoT/IIoT.
Salary : $90,000 - $170,000
