We are looking for team players with customer service and problem solving mindsets. Front Desk Agents serve as the first point of contact and are the friendly face of the hotel.
Front Desk Agent responsibilities include:
- Greeting and checking in guests
- Answering phones
- Taking cash, check, and card payments
- Making reservations in person and over the phone
- Informing guests about hotel amenities and services
- Organizing and maintaining the guest market
- Cleaning and sanitizing public areas
- Handling guest complaints including offering compensation
- Provide guests with information about the local area and events
- Communicating and assisting other hotel departments to provide exemplary guest experiences.
Skills:
- Professional written and oral communication
- Customer service attitude
- Organization and cleanliness
- Adaptability
- Prior hotel experience is a plus, but not mandatory
- Degree in hospitality is a plus, but not mandatory
