We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of catering services, from planning and execution to customer satisfaction. This role requires a blend of creativity, leadership, and strong business acumen to effectively market our catering services and develop lasting relationships with clients.
Duties
- Manage the entire catering process, including menu planning, event coordination, and logistics.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote catering services and expand the client base.
- Conduct outside sales efforts to attract new clients while maintaining relationships with existing customers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout the event planning process.
- Oversee account management for corporate clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Utilize software tools for scheduling, inventory management, and reporting to streamline operations.
- Lead a team of catering staff, providing training and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
Skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong background in outside sales, with experience in technology sales or retail sales being a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
