This well-established boutique employment law firm is looking for an associate attorney to help with our growing caseload. This associate attorney position will involve representing employees and employers in wage, discrimination, harassment, termination, and other employment litigation matters as well as representing employers in governmental/administrative investigations.
The candidate must be licensed to practice law in Florida to be considered. The best candidate will be a bilingual (English & Spanish) lawyer who is punctual, detail-oriented, motivated, possess great advocacy skills, and wants to litigate cases in state and federal courts. You should be a confident person, have excellent writing skills due to our strong federal practice, be the type of person who likes working directly with clients, and be interested in employment law.
You will be involved in:
- client intake interviews
- wage and hour cases
- leave and disability claims
- discrimination / harassment claims
- retaliation claims
- counseling employers
- assisting employees
- administrative investigations (EEOC, FCHR, MDCHR, DOL)
- legal research and drafting submissions to courts
- strategy sessions
- client meetings
- state and federal court appearances
- depositions and discovery
- mediations / federal settlement conferences
- negotiations
- arbitrations / trials

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
