POSITION SUMMARY:
At Family Time Vacation Rentals, we are looking for a hands-on Property Care Field Assistant, preferably experienced in the vacation rental industry.
Responsibilities:
“3 Point Inspection”: This refers to the ability to identify marketability problems in a property. When you walk into a property, you should be able to identify problems from a 3 point perspective (3 points: Maintenance, referring to the condition of repair; Housekeeping, referring to the overall cleanliness of the property, inside and out; Inspection, referring to the quality and condition of the furniture or other cosmetic items throughout the property).- Performing home inspections and minor maintenance duties as needed.
- Scheduling maintenance jobs with third-party vendors as needed.
- Providing 5-star customer service to guests with issues or complaints and troubleshooting solutions to ensure the issue is resolved.
- Work diligently to ensure that your properties receive glowing reviews and referrals.
- Administrative duties will include filling out work orders and creating reports for all work performed; Occasional other admin tasks may apply
- Maintain up-to-date records of each property, inventory, inspection checks, and maintenance work orders.
Qualifications:
Hands-on, basic maintenance knowledge with ability to occasionally troubleshoot
- Hospitality experience is preferred, but not required
- Living local to Brian Head, Duck Creek Village, Parowan, Cedar City is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Reliable transportation, 4WD/AWD REQUIRED
- Flexible availability to respond to after-hours calls if the occasion arises
- Weekend availability is a must
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Hourly: $17 - $18 per hour, depending on experience
