Position Summary
The Aerosol Packaging Quality Line Lead is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation and quality compliance of one or more aerosol packaging lines. This role blends technical expertise with leadership responsibilities to ensure that production lines operate safely, efficiently, and consistently deliver high-quality products in compliance with all regulatory and customer standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply to Current Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, Polices, Good Housekeeping and Safety Procedures to endure to ensure the quality, safety, strength, identity, and purity of a finished product and the safety of employees
- Performs all required packaging functions within the assigned packaging lines, ensuring proper setup, documentation, and line readiness.
- Perform quality checks, challenges, in process inspections, simple adjustments, lot and product changes, and line clearances. Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Observes line operations to identify malfunctions, staffing, and safety issues, and reports problems and line discrepancies to Supervisor or Manager immediately
Training and Compliance
- Serve as a certified trainer for SOPs and Job Aids.
- Keep your training up to date on all procedures required for job performance, safety, and & documentation.
Engagement and Teamwork
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and support functions.
- Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
- Actively participates in team activities including continuous improvement efforts, cost reduction initiatives and process improvements
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a production line leader or quality assurance professional in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP and quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work overtime and varying shifts as needed for changeovers and new product runs.
