JOB SUMMARY:
To safely clean and sanitize processing rooms and equipment while understanding and complying with all Food Safety and Safety policies and procedures. Perform self-inspection (pre-op) in preparation for inspection by Quality Assurance and USDA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Other duties may be assigned)
- Using high pressure hoses and chemical applications, clean all bins and trays.
- Ensure all bins and trays meet all sanitation standards as required by USDA.
- Operate Pallet jack
- Operate tray wash machine
OTHER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds consistently.
- Exposure to chemicals and fumes; personal protective equipment (PPE) is provided and required. PPE must be always worn while performing task.
- Able to work in wet, hot, humid, and or even cold conditions. (must wear PPE)
- Able to effectively communicate with supervision and team members.
