JOB SUMMARY: Inventory Control Receiving clerk is responsible for receiving all incoming orders for Dry goods inventory along with all UPS and FedEx packages
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verifying all incoming shipments for accuracy for what was ordered
- Report any discrepancies to lead, supervisor or manager immediately
- Post all incoming shipments in Business central
- Make sure all shipments are ready for put away
- Monitor for UPS, & FedEx shipments regularly throughout the day
- Deliver all packages to Bell & Evans team member or area it belongs too
- Daily cycle counts of the dry goods area
- Maintain inventory accuracy by following proper inventory procedures
- Safely operate pallet jack and high lo
- Interact and communicate with the delivery drivers
- Prepare outgoing shipments
- Process all daily paperwork
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Receiving or inventory background preferred but not required. Previous equipment experience a plus
Language Skills:
Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
