What This Role is All About:

The role of an Assistant Controller is to manage the financial aspects of the operations as delegated by the Plant Controller, to optimize the plant's financial performance and competitiveness.

What You Will Do:

• Provide accurate accounting and financial information for the plant according to the Group, Business Group and Division policies, including compliance with relevant accounting and tax rules
• Provide support to other staffs to discover and implement cost savings and compliance to corporate policies
• Ensure reconciliation of intercompany and general ledger accounts
• Assist in all aspects of internal controls throughout the plant
• Prepare month-end journal entries and actively participate in month-end closing
• Prepare daily, weekly, and month-end reports
• Product standard and actualized costing of new and existing part numbers
• Assist in Fixed Asset control
• Contribute to internal and external audit requirements
• Act as the back up to the Plant Controller when needed

What You Will Bring to the Company:

• Bachelors of Science in Finance or Accounting
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience, manufacturing or related environment preferred
• Strong accounting and internal control knowledge
• Advanced Excel Skills necessary, SAP experience preferred
• Strong sense of teamwork, willing to pitch in and get involved
• Results orientation with strong communications skills
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management
