Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor – RN

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Skilled Nursing

Location: Rye, NY

Schedule: Full-time, night shift (11:30p-7:30a). Every other weekend is required.

Pay: $105,000 - $112,000 depending on experience plus full benefits package!

The RN Supervisor’s duties to include but not be limited to:

• Ensures that staffing numbers are maintained to provide adequate coverage levels for both licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants on evening tour of duty, to ensure that routine nursing needs of the residents are met, and quality care is maintained.
• Works closely with nurses on each unit providing guidance, delegating responsibility, and accountability necessary to perform their duties.
• Participates in employee performance evaluations, making recommendations to the Director of Nursing with regard to follow up required, staff development needed, and any disciplinary protocol required.
• Monitors clinical condition of the residents, provides the physician or nurse practitioner with pertinent information regarding resident problems and changes in the resident’s condition.
  
  

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing education.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
• Experience in Gerontological nursing
• Two years of management (supervisor/charge) experience highly preferred.
