Felician University is presently offering an exciting opportunity for an academically qualified, full-time faculty with expertise in accounting. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in accounting, with a well-developed knowledge of finance and statistics curriculum, as well a proven track record of teaching excellence. S/he should be comfortable developing and delivering courses across various formats (in-person, hybrid, online), as well as strong research skills and a passion for publishing. The Assistant Professor will be expected to participate in university events, student advisement, assessment, and curriculum development. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to professional growth are essential. Currency in accounting standards and regulation, CPA examination requirements and other professional certifications required.

Required Education
CPA certification and Master’s degree in related field required; PhD, DBA or JD preferred.
Qualifications
3 years’ experience teaching undergraduate and graduate-level accounting courses; proficiency in teaching both in-person and online formats; willingness and ability to teach at off-campus locations as needed; demonstrated experience in curriculum assessment and willingness to participate in assessment training; familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) such as Brightspace; superior written and verbal communications skills; ability to collaborate and engage with a diverse population of students, faculty and staff; professional accounting experience and industry connections preferred; willingness and ability to support the Felician Franciscan mission and core values of the university.
