Overview
We are seeking a Receptionist/Resident Technology Specialist to provide technology support and instruction to residents, assisting with personal devices and resident-facing campus technology. In this role, you will focus on improving resident engagement, connectivity, and overall quality of life through patient, one-on-one support.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with smartphones, tablets, computers, smart TVs, and Wi-Fi.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and device setup.
- Support resident-facing technology (TV channels, digital signage, surveys, QR codes).
- Offer simple instruction and technology education to residents.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of consumer technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and comfort working with older adults.
- Service-oriented and dependable.
- Ability to move across campus and lift up to 25 lbs.
Preferred skills:
- Experience working with seniors or in a support role.
- Prior IT, help desk, or technology assistance experience.
