What You'll Do
This is a baking position that requires early morning hours (or late night hours). The job requires baking pies, donuts, cookies, scones and other baked goods. You will report to our Bakery manager and receive training from them when you begin.
Farm Store Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- You must have good communication skills. This job requires constant, clear and professional communication with colleagues.
- You must maintain the highest quality and freshness standards.
- Daily tasks may include, but are not limited to: baking, wasing dishes, cleaning, pricing, organizing, receiving deliveries, loading products, preparing orders, etc.
- You'll need to have an eye for detail and enjoy organizing and making your work area a little better each day.
- Willingness to learn.
- Early morning and late night hours possible.
Qualifications
- Time management and multitasking skills
- Highly self-motivated with a sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment at all times
- Very flexible and open-minded. You may perform numerous types of tasks within the course of the same day.
- Basic knowledge of bakery and food safety is preferred.
- Part-time and full-time hours are possible
Physical Requirements
- Requires standing, walking, bending, stacking and lifting throughout the entire work day.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
- May need to maneuver heavy objects weighing 50 lbs. using carts.
- Requires working in all types of temperatures. You may be working in very cold and very hot conditions depending on the time of year.
- Smoking is not permitted on our farm campus.
- We are closed on Sundays.
