Job Description

First National Bank of Oklahoma is an independently owned, strong, and growing bank seeking an experienced Universal Loan Assistant. As our Universal Loan Assistant, you oversee the entire loan process and serve as a liaison between the client, Lending Officer, and Credit Administration team to ensure all necessary documentation is obtained in a timely manner and loans are accurate and compliant. This position will maintain courteous and professional communications with team members and clients.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide overall support to the Lenders and Credit Administration department.
• Prepare commercial and P&E loan documents for Lenders on new, renewal and existing loans.
• Review credit files making sure the files are complete and report any documentation deficiencies to the Lender in a timely fashion for resolution.
• Responsible for booking loans, processing loan paydowns, working documentation exceptions, and scanning and indexing loan documents.
• Serves as collaborator with participant banks by sharing participation funding and documentation.

Required Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of experience in a loan operations or loan closing environment is preferred.
• Must have strong professional communication skills both written and verbal as will have regular contact with bank customers.
• Success with working collaboratively and developing strong, positive working relationships in an organization.
• Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines.
