The Deposit Operations Specialist is responsible for processing and maintaining all centralized deposit operations including adherence to operational controls, applicable laws, rules, regulations, and policies governing deposit operations.
The successful candidate will possess at a minimum the following requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two to five years of prior business office work experience
- Computer literacy with a high proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Working knowledge of web-based technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Excellent time management and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good typing skills
- Service-oriented skill set
It is preferred that applicants:
- Possess a college degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or two years of relevant work experience
- Possess working knowledge with ACH and NACHA rules and are familiar with federal banking regulations
