Our team is looking for a Quality Inspector to join them. You will report to the Quality Manager and will have an onsite, work schedule in Creedmoor, NC. As a member of the Quality Department, is responsible for a wide variety of quality control functions associated with the inspection, verification, and acceptance of products procured from the supply base or products produced internally relevant to aerospace components, sub-assemblies, or top assemblies. Assures compliance of procured products to dimensional and contractual requirements. As a Quality Inspector you will: Perform inspection of complex GD&T hardware using a variety of hand and bench tools, which may include micrometers, bore. gages, depth gages, dial indicators, drop indicators, height gages, etc. Tools may also include optical comparators, hardness. checkers, profilometers, etc. Perform review and verification of compliance of Supplier Purchase Order Quality flow down requirements for received. product. Perform independent inspections of assigned tasks (documentation reviews ATP, CofC, FAIR, hardware inspection, assembly inspection, tests validation, etc.) using blueprints, specifications, contractual documents, visual inspection methods, etc. • Implements Supplier Quality procedures. • Create Supplier and internal Nonconformance reports when required. • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by management. What Experience and knowledge are we looking for? Demonstrate expertise in Quality Control Inspection principles and regulatory administration with previous proven experience in a similar role: Electronic/Electrical Inspection Methods and Acceptance Criteria (J-STD-001 IPC-A-61,620 certified) General Manufacturing and Assembly Techniques Proficient Drawing / Schematic Reading and Interpretation and ASME Y14.5 GD&T FAA Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 14 Part 21, Certification Procedures for Products and Parts AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO 9000 Quality Management System standards Proficient in AS9102 First Article Inspection. Data package development in DISCUS/Net Inspect Familiar with the use of Coordinated Measurement Machines (CMM) for product acceptance (preferred) Electronic/Electrical Test Techniques Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Education/Certification: Requires extensive experience relevant to aerospace products and processes.
