firstPRO 360 is seeking an Entry Level Staff Accountant for a full-time opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. General duties include, but are not limited to: AP/AR overview, assisting with month-end close, bank and account reconciliations, cash management, financial statement preparation, budgeting, and vendor maintenance. Experience with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks or similar accounting system is highly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Manage overview of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
- Examine accounting records for the entire department, checking for accuracy
- Maintenance of the general ledger
- Manage daily cash flow
- Assist in handling the month-end close process
- Reconcile bank and vendor accounts
- Tax reporting and assistance with annual audits
- Financial statement and budget preparation
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field
- Internship or basic accounting experience preferred
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks or similar accounting system
- Fundamental understanding of GAAP
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
