About the role:
The department prints checks, cards, inserts, and other materials for distribution through the use of automated printing and inserting machines. Follow company operational procedures and policies for printing and inserting to produce both accurate and quality work on time.
About the team:
This FIS Print & Insert Team is comprised of a close group, of print checks, cards, inserts, and other materials for distribution through the use of automated printing and inserting machines. It is important with a small group that everyone’s strengths are recognized and will be called upon in high-volume situations.
What you will be doing:
Maintains the production floor material handling needs such as refilling envelope stock, mail trays, and recycling trim waste.
Supply fulfillment for jobs with inserts and envelopes.
Sorts finished mail and completed shipment documentation for presort processing.
Delivers print jobs from the printing process to the inserting production areas.
Organizes and cleans the inserting production area including sweeping, cleaning machines, and emptying trash containers.
What you will need:
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
Must be able to work on feet and walk during the entire work shift.
Knowledge of office policies and procedures
Proficient in using PCs, postage meters and other general office equipment
Proficiency to work independently
Knowledge of rules of grammar and punctuation and common arithmetic computations, e.g., addition, subtraction, percentages
Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
The ability to work
Sunday to Friday from 10:00pm to 6:30pm, and one mandatory weekend per month.
