Responsibilities:
- Excellent employment opportunity for a Scientist II in the Ridgefield, CT area.
- Principal Responsibilities Key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: Provide hands-on and strategic leadership to in-vitro/Ex-vivo capabilities - e.g. cell culture, Organ-on-a-chip platform or cell/tissue-based assay development.
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex cellular experiments, and an ability to confidently utilize cutting-edge technologies towards the scientific questions at hand.
- Independently design, plan, and execute experiments; select approaches to achieve project objectives by leveraging prior experience and application of sound experimental procedures.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution with three-plus (3 ) years of experience in related Scientific discipline or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in related Scientific discipline or equivalent experience in related field.
- Innovate and improve current methodologies to understand and enhance drug product performance.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different departments to get critical feedback and advance key findings.
- Clearly document, compile and interpret experimental data; manage laboratory notebook, databases, and/ or spreadsheets to present data in a meaningful manner.
- Keep up to date on relevant Scientific literature.
- Required Skills: CELL CULTURE, ASSAY DEVELOPMENT
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
