About the Role: As a Carrier Success Associate you are responsible for the coverage of our customers freight and ensuring it’s seamlessly serviced. You will be responsible for developing relationships with carrier companies, and committing to sustaining and growing those relationships through consistent and strategic communication. We provide a comprehensive training program for this role where employees will gain industry knowledge, learn about Flock Freight’s specialized technology, and gain understanding of logistical sales to apply towards the growth of their book of business and the growth of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with carriers to ensure long term engagement and retention
• Work collaboratively with customer success teams to achieve high levels of service for customers and carriers
• Apply strategic and tactical sales skills to achieve optimal economic outcomes and optimize carrier utilization
• Ensure freight moves successfully through Flock Freight’s platform by focusing on daily execution
• Properly document truck capacity within Flock Freight system, continuously bringing coverage options to customer success team for all shipments
• Proactively track shipments and work with tracking team to increase efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement
• Consistently deliver on goals and metrics set by Carrier Success Management team
• Leverage Flock Freight’s digital platform and core pooling product
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Sales or customer service experience preferred
• Strong work-ethic
• Self-determination to be successful
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident decision making and problem solving skills
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast paced environment
  
  
  

Compensation:

The expected compensation for this position is $25/hour variable bonus. When determining an offer, we take into account a variety of factors that are important in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill sets; experience and tenure; education and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed estimate is based on market data. Salary amounts may, in some circumstances, be adjusted to a different geographic area depending on the candidate's position and location.

In addition to salary, full-time employees are also eligible for an equity package and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Flock Freight. Our policy is that we target candidates local to one of Flock Freight’s headquarters locations (San Diego and Chicago) and ask that employees work in-office.
