What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food Expeditor / To-Go position at Food People Restaurant Group?
Carolina Ale House is seeking food expeditors to join our team in Summerville, SC!
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and servers to ensure seamless service.
- Collaborate with kitchen team to manage food ticket times and avoid delays.
- Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen are of the highest quality and meet food safety standards.
- Assemble to-go orders accurately and ensure that each order meets quality standards before it leaves the restaurant.
- Carefully inspect each dish for accuracy, quality, and presentation before sending it to the dining area.
- Adhere to restaurant policies and procedures regarding food handling and safety.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Additional duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food expo role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team player mentality, willing to assist other team members when needed.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
