ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Keep financial records updated
- Closing financial statements
- General bookkeeping
- General ledger reconciliation
- Record month end journal entries
- Prepare financial reports
- Provide assistance and support to company personnel
- Research, track and restore accounting discrepancies
- Perform filing and record keeping tasks

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must have 3 years prior accounting experience. Restaurant accounting and QuickBooks equivalent is required. Have a high school degree or equivalent. Accounting degree or relevant certification is a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role routinely works in an office setting and uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines. Opportunity to work remotely one day a week.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee is frequently required to sit, walk, talk, see and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, twist or crouch. The employee may frequently lift and/or move materials/product up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Long periods of sitting are required. EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position requiring hours between the hours of 9am and 6pm. The hours of work are 40 hours per week.
TRAVEL
This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel may be outside the local area.
