Forms Surfaces is a leading designer and manufacturer of architectural and site products used in high-profile commercial and public projects around the world. With approximately 650 employees both local and international, our team of talented professionals and craftsmen spans numerous disciplines: design, engineering, manufacturing, sales, sustainability, and client support. We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Quality team to assist in improving the day-to-day manufacturing of our product lines.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with the different departments on the manufacturing floor to craft detailed and easy-to-follow SOPs
- Learn and have thorough understanding of our diverse product line
- Consult with plant management and personnel on better operational procedures to improve the assembling of our standard, custom, and lighting products
- Prepare and submit proposed new or improved operating procedures
- Assist in development of special department projects and work in conjunction with the quality department
Competencies/Qualification:
- Strong attention to detail
- Thorough communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and overall computer skills
- Manufacturing experience is a plus
- 4-year degree is encouraged but not required
