Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Use available resources and techniques to address and resolve both basic and complex questions from Merchants, Partners, and Colleagues concerning Installs.
- Hold foundational knowledge of back-end and front-end relationships including North-Nashville, Omaha-Nashville, TSYS, and Elavon.
- Efficiently handle the installation of new accounts/services such as:
- Credit Card Processing Systems: Terminals/PinPads, Gateways, and VARs.
- ACH Processing.
- Value Added Services like Gift Cards, Check Services, etc.
- Occasionally handling the configuration or reprogramming of hardware.
- Understand the specifics of different file builds encompassing Retail, Restaurant, MOTO, Internet, and Lodging.
- Grasp and understand the functionality of the FortisPay Gateway, and communicate its features and benefits effectively to Merchants, Agents, and Colleagues.
- Schedule and manage conversions for PMS/POS or Gateway systems, ensuring a seamless transition for stakeholders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Capacity to deliver excellent Customer Service. Exceptional communication skills are mandatory.
- Experience in merchant services is highly desirable but not a prerequisite.
- Ability to collaborate with team members across different functions.
- Strong follow up and organizational skills.
