Responsibilities
- Acts as first point of contact for the user support
- Provides day-to-day technical support to all users
- Builds and configures desktop computers and laptops
- Assists with the maintenance of print servers
- Implements the delivery of PC hardware peripherals and computers
- Works with hardware vendors to quickly repair or replace broken hardware products
- Reviews, monitors and upgrades existing PCs or installs new PCs
- Installs and maintains software or hardware to meet user needs
- Ensures applications delivered via the network operate effectively
- Installs PC workstation software, patches/fixes, and upgrades
- Identifies problems and then helps users troubleshoot these problem
Qualifications
- Relevant technical training or Associate Degree
- A , Microsoft Office, Chrome OS, etc. – Desired
- 1-3 years related experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Working Knowledge of or experience with:
- Microsoft OS, Active Directory, and other related software
- Chromebook hardware and Chrome OS support
- Administrative skills for Windows, Microsoft Office, cabling, hubs, network protocols, printers, LCDs, and multimedia presentation technologies support
- Wireless network support
