Position Description:
During the ten-week Open Enrollment period from November 1 to December 15, the Prosper Health Coverage Program hires a team of on-site temporary staff to help community members enroll in affordable health insurance through the federal Marketplace and use their insurance to access care. The timeline for this position is late September 2024 to December 15, 2024.
A key position on the team is the Health Insurance Bilingual Enrollment Specialist. The team of Enrollment Specialists will work together to enroll community members in affordable health insurance plans. Full-time and part-time positions available with daytime, evening, and weekend schedule options. Paid training is provided. Knowledge of health insurance experience is a plus but is not required.

- Provide on-site client assistance and support in person and by phone
- Help clients quickly and accurately enroll in Marketplace health insurance
- Educate clients on the Marketplace application, health coverage terminology, and plan options
- Follow privacy procedures to protect clients’ personally identifiable information
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills
- Bilingual in English, Spanish, or Arabic
- Ability to provide empathetic and trauma-informed services
- Ability to be flexible, learn quickly, and multi-task
- Accurate, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Proficiency using standard office computer programs and databases
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
