Our client, an apparel design and manufacturing company, is looking for a professional and dependable temporary Assistant Kid’s Designer to join their Culver City, CA team!
Responsibilities :
- Monitoring and managing details of the fabric development calendars / grids.
- Purchasing original samples and shipping to the China-based development team.
- Overseeing a library of core fabrics that meets costing criteria.
- Supporting Sr Designer with daily tasks such as sending out packages to overseas vendors, sample tracking and receiving, and maintaining general tidiness and organization.
- Supporting preliminary design research and assembling presentation boards for meetings.
- Conducting seasonal trend research to inform design decisions and ensure market relevance.
