What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at Fourth Floor?
Our client, a swimwear manufacturer, is seeking a Production Manager to join the team in New York. MUST have Walmart Private Label experience!
4 days onsite in NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Manage production process for company's Walmart business
- Manage negotiations
- Oversee T&A calendar
- Oversee a team of production coordinators
- Handle costing
- Manage and maintain WIP reports
- Oversee sample submissions
- Communicate with factories on sample updates
- Ensure prompt resolution of all production related issues
Requirements:
- At least 10 years of experience in production in an apparel environment
- MUST have Walmart Private Label experience!
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite
- In depth understanding of costing process at a factory level
- Strong organizational, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, print processes, details and fit
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field of study
