Fox TV Stations

FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will play an integral role in maintaining and growing our client base, enhancing existing relationships while also identifying and securing new opportunities. Our mission is to drive revenue and market share through strategic sales initiatives across various media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of national sales for 28 TV stations across seventeen spot television markets.
  • Negotiate and oversee advertising schedules throughout their duration, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction.
  • Liaise with stations, advertising agencies, and direct clients to boost station revenue and market presence.
  • Cultivate sales opportunities in core business activities, sports and special programming, digital platforms, and new business domains.
  • Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in TV advertising sales.
  • Proven track record in media sales or other relevant outside sales roles.
  • Having established OTT/Digital relationships and ability to make an immediate impact on a sales team is a plus.
  • Digital Video Advertising and/or Digital Agency/Digital Publisher experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling sales pitches and close deals effectively.
  • Familiarity with Wide Orbit software is advantageous.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Exemplary time management, communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • Understanding of NSI ratings and their implications for sales strategies.
  • Capability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced work setting.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory; a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $125,000.00-135,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for a sales incentive/commission compensation plan, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
