About Our Company: As an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), we design and produce our products Globally. Our logistics operations encompass shipping from our local warehouse, drop-shipping from California warehouse, and managing international freight with factories on both DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) and FOB (Free On Board) pricing terms.
Position Summary: The Logistics Project Coordinator is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end logistics, import/export operations, and project coordination for our OEM & sell through products. This role ensures efficient movement of goods from manufacturing in Asia to our warehouses and customers, while supporting critical project timelines and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics & Shipping Management:
- Coordinate and track all inbound and outbound shipments, including samples, e-commerce orders, and bulk freight from Asia.
- Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customs brokers, UPS/FedEx, and LTL carriers to secure competitive quotes and efficient shipping methods.
- Calculate and account for all landed costs, including IPO, administration, freight, and duty, for product pricing.
- Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, tariffs, provide necessary documentation for customs clearance.
- Monitor fulfillment rates and address shipping and handling inquiries for all sales channels.
- Oversee e-commerce returns, including inspection, logging, and prepare for resale.
- Inventory & Warehouse Operations:
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for both local and California warehouses & distribution.
- Optimize warehouse organization, product labeling, pricing and efficient handling of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Analyze inventory levels and sales rates to forecast stock needs and prevent stock-outs.
- Project Coordination & Documentation:
- Lead and prepare agendas for weekly global customer meetings, present logistics and pricing.
- Maintain and organize critical project documentation, including purchase orders (POs), ECNs, and weekly open PO reports, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility on SharePoint.
- Facilitate daily communication with international production offices (IPOs) and factories to guide projects and resolve issues.
- Review production samples upon arrival, (QC) quality control & advise team on quality
- Manage the backend infrastructure and product data for all e-commerce channels.
- General Operations Support:
- Contribute to the general tidiness and organization of the office space.
- Manage office supply inventory and reordering.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of company operations and processes to serve as a key informational resource.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or project coordination, preferably within an OEM or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of international shipping terms (FOB, DDP) and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with international teams, vendors, and customers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint).
