What are the responsibilities and job description for the Processing Assistant V position at Franklin County (NC)?
This position performs a variety of office and/or technical tasks to accomplish the specialized processing of information, documents or materials, and technical operations. Employee performs functions to include a diversity of records, reports, filing, public contact and other general office duties.
Normal agency work schedule is 8:00am — 5:00pm Monday through Friday. In the event of a disaster, employee will be required to work rotating shifts at emergency shelter.
This position will be responsible for completion of bi-weekly payroll. Employee will ensure that timesheets are completed accurately and timely. Employee will investigate and resolve any discrepancies within payroll.
This position will be responsible for maintaining the agency's vehicle fleet management.
This position will serve as a backup for receipting and making deposits for the agency for the North Carolina Health Choice program and other programs for fraud collections for Medicaid, Food Nutrition, and Work First Programs. Other programs that are administered for receipting and depositing are for contributions and grants received for the Happy Camper Program, Care and Share Program, and the General Contribution programs.
This position performs accounting management for the Individual Trust Accounts in the writing of checks from each account, maintain ledger sheets on each account for deposits and expenditures for the week or the month.
This position performs management of CAP billing. This position will have full responsibility of Medicaid billing reimbursements for the CAP program.
This position will serve as backup to the Accounting Technician positions and Business Officer and Administration.
Graduation from high school and demonstrated possession of knowledge, skills and abilities gained through at least three of office assistant/secretarial experience; or completion of a two-year secretarial science or business administration program with one year of experience as described above; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license upon hire.Salary : $38,102 - $40,007
