Description
Follow detailed assembly instructions, Use hand and power tools to assemble large trailers and pumps, Utilize basic mechanic skills in order to complete production schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Meets daily production schedule as assigned.
- Uses materials to assemble extremely large pump units.
- Tests and packs the assembled pumps.
- Performs quality checks on assembled pumps to ensure product specifications are met.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Works with various hand and power tools.
- Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
- Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
- Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.
- Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
- 6 months or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).
Computer Skills
- Basic: Barcode scanner.
