What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plumbing Inspector I position at Frederick County Government, Maryland?
Non-exempt (compensatory and/or overtime eligible; additional compensation to include annual work boot allowance); full-time; 40 hours per week; Monday - Friday; 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; full-benefits
This position involves independent on-site technical inspection of residential and non-residential plumbing installations to assure compliance with State and County regulations and requirements. The position also involves residential combination type inspections for building, electrical and other possible trades. Supervision is received from the Chief Plumbing Inspector and/or the Manager of Inspection Services.
NOTE: The upper pay range reflects possible wage rates for internal County transfers and promotions, which are calculated per County policy. For external hires, offers are made at the base wage rate, with limited exception.
