Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor Skilled Nursing

Salary: Starting at $45/hr Actual salary may fall outside of the posted salary range as it is dependent on skills and experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 3-11 p.m. with on-call rotation

We also are in need of RN Supervisors every weekend on first and 2nd shift. We offer flexible scheduling!

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN) is responsible for the overall nursing care/service, and management of all personnel on his/her shift, including the accurate and timely administration of medications, treatments, documentation, and emergency calls, as indicated.

• Supervise direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift.
• Administer direct care as necessary.
• Give and receive shift reports.
• Round twice a shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
• Keep physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.
• Assist in developing comprehensive care plans
• Maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety of each resident
• Maintain accurate documentation of all care rendered.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
• Interface with other disciplines to assure continuity of care and services.
• Accompanies physicians when making rounds.
• Encourage restorative care in order to obtain maximum resident independence

WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU…

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. RN with a current license in Pennsylvania.
• At least 1 year experience in geriatric nursing a plus.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.
• Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
