Job Description
We’re looking for experienced and passionate sales professionals to join our Mid-Market to Enterprise team, as we seek to change the industry for the better! In this role, you will be responsible for prospecting, hunting, and selling through the entire customer journey – from initial outreach to building strategic partnerships with our largest customers.
Our ideal candidate is a problem solver, focused on continuous development, and motivated to perform individually while also collaborating with cross functional team members.
Responsibilities (included, but not limited to):
- Build and maintain a pipeline of fortune 500 and large customer opportunities through research, cold calling, and demonstrating value to decision-makers to utilize FreightVana’s services
- Manage customer follow-up and create feedback loop for all opportunities
- Lead informative and consultative customer meetings and presentations
· Remain knowledgeable of current market trends and how it affects all parties in the chain of transportation
- Leverage sales tools to identify new leads and develop prospect relationships; all daily sales activities to be recorded in CRM.
- Responding to client prospect inquiries by preparing responses to RFIs and RFPs.
- Utilizing FreightVana market intelligence and pricing tools, provide quotes to customers for transactional opportunities to longer term commitments.
- Collaborate with pricing, operations, and account management teams to customize solutions, drive win rates, and optimize customer experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Participate in external events such as (but not limited to) customer QBRs, carrier summits, supply chain conferences as needed. Travel is required (less than 25%).
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 3 years prior sales experience in transportation services, with demonstrated success working with Enterprise businesses and senior level contacts
- Negotiation skills, persuasiveness, and confidence.
- Time management skills – Ability to recognize issues which require escalation or prioritization, in addition to daily responsibilities and metrics.
- Adaptability – Ability to continuously re-prioritize and execute tasks based on urgency and profitable opportunity.
- Strong relationship-building and active listening skills.
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication.
- Proactive decision-making, problem-solving ability, issue resolution skills.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
