What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Frick's Sports Bar?
Frick’s originally opened in 1955, making it one of the most historical bars in Midland.
Frick’s offers dog friendly patio seating, live music, pool tables, dart boards, air hockey, foosball, and a golf simulator.
If you are already ServSafe and TIPS (or its equivalent) certified, GREAT! If not, within the first 90 days of hire, you would be responsible for getting ServSafe (food handling) AND ServSafe alcohol, TIPS, or TAM (alcohol serving) certified.
If you have experience serving and thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere, Frick's may be a great fit for you.
(Requirements include, but are not limited to):
- You must be at least 21 years of age
- You must have a minimum of one year serving experience
- Ability to thrive in high stress environments
- Cash handling
- Credit card handling
- Processing payments accurately
- Open guest tabs and hold their credit card
- POS proficiency (Toast preferred)
- Greet guests in a timely and upbeat manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age
- Offer menu recommendations and answer questions about the menu
- Table setups prior to food being dropped
- Food running
- Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- Check on guests regularly
- Pre-bussing of tables
- Buss tables
- Wiping table caddies after each guest
- Specialty and deep cleaning of the restaurant and equipment
- Sweep and mop floors
- Empty trash
- Have fun!
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $4.05 - $10.33 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 25 per week
