FTS is recruiting for a Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting Manager that will report into and work with the Director, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting in addition to the Chief Accounting Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase accounting
- ASC 842 policy related to existing leases and M&A
- Quarterly investment reporting and impairments
- Footnote prep and review in accordance with GAAP and SEC standards
- SOX compliance
- Work with external auditors and valuation firms
- Draft white papers on technical accounting matters
- Partner with IT to drive ERP implementation and improvement efforts
- Lead projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 5-7 years’ experience
- CPA or CPA track
- Public company experience
