A publicly traded REIT headquartered in Buckhead is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its lean, high-performing accounting team. This role is ideal for an agile and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This is a fully onsite role with a growing company that's recently gone public and is scaling its internal controls and reporting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and support quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K), including related footnotes
- Perform daily cash reconciliations across multiple warehouse financing and cash accounts
- Assist in monthly close and maintaining supporting documentation for financial reporting
- Create and manage accounting schedules related to equity, stock compensation, and securitizations
- Support MEC, QEC, and internal reporting processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and legal teams on compliance and reporting
- Assist in issuing and tracking restricted stock units (RSUs) and related dividend schedules
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (from a reputable brick-and-mortar institution preferred)
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in public accounting
- CPA preferred (or actively pursuing CPA)
- Technically strong in accounting and SEC reporting standards
- Advanced Excel skills; experience compiling and analyzing large datasets
- Experience with NetSuite is a plus
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
